Zip Drive
I would like to store my photos on a zip drive, is this a good idea ?
How do I download the photos onto a zip drive ?
It's a great idea, though I'd leave a copy of any files you transfer on your hard drive.
Just purchase a USB Flash Drive (they vary in size and cost, but are still very cheap), plug it into an unused USB port, and copy your files as you would when copying from one location to another.
So highlight the files you want on the flash drive, press CTRL+C (copy) on your keyboard, navigate to your flash drive in Windows Explorer, and paste the files using CTRL+V (paste shortcut).
