Snare Wires
How do you attach snare wires to a Snare Drum?
Ok so I'm repairing my little brothers snare drum and he bought thes wires you attach to the bottom of the drum to make it sound like a snare and as a guitarist I don't know what the hell I'm doin. Soooo... How do you attach snare wires to the drum?
There should be some strips of plastic or something similar on either end of the snare. On the drum there should be couple screws on each side that you can loosen and slide the plastic strips in to. Then just tighten the screws and adjust the snare tension.
