ION Drum Rocker, Is it worth the money?

Hi. I'm a expert rockband drummer who plays real drums and is tired of cheap plastic drums. I found the ion drum rocker and thought, "buy it!" well, then I saw the price. I have read and watched many reviews saying all good things. I researched the drum rocker more and saw if you buy a cable it can be used as real drums also. THAT got my attention. I have always wanted to play a real electric kit. I never wanted to pay the $4000. As said by Blinz0r,"Yes the drum rocker is perfect. It has great rebound." "The cymbals are really fun to play on" said about every review I read and watched. So, are the ION drum rockers really worth $300 dollars?

I plan on picking it up. I play drums in real life, and to me the original set was always lacking that "feel". Yes they are more expensive, but from what I've heard it worth it. As for using it as an electronic kit, it is possible, but the brains gonna cost ya about the cost of the set. I will eventually pick up the brain, but for now, I'll have some fun in the practice mode.
