Ride Crash
Where do I place my crash and ride cymbals?
I have a 5-piece Drum Set, a bass, snare, hi-hat, 2 mounted toms, 1 Floor Tom, a Crash Cymbal, and a Ride Cymbal. I know where to put all of the drums, but I'm not sure where to place the cymbals.
it's all based on what feels comfortable to you, but the most common set-up is with the crash cymbal on your left and ride to your right (above the drums). The hi-hats are on your left in a position so your left foot can easily operate the pedal. look at the link for an image.
