Suitable headphones for an electric Drum Kit?

I've just got through my second pair of headphones for my Electronic Drum kit. I don't think they can cope with the bass. They were both good pairs. The second pair were sennheisser, a brand that has been recommended to me. They are supposed to be good with the bass range. They have developed a fizzing sound in the right ear piece. What do I need to consider when buying my next set of headphones so that they can cope with the kit?

Did you buy good Sennheiser's? The HD-280's are pretty good headphones at about $100. You have to spend in the $200 range to get really good headphones though, regardless of brand. Here are a bunch to check out, maybe read some of the reviews also.
