Can an adult use a junior or child sized snorkel?
I've found regular snorkels to be too wide and large for my mouth. A dive shop told me that a few snorkels are available with small mouthpieces but the ones I've seen are quite pricey. Can I go with a Child Size instead? I haven't been able to find out what the difference between child and adult size snorkels is. Maybe someone with experience could tell me...
You can use a junior size snorkel as long as you can get enough air through the tube. Because your lungs are bigger than a junior or child.
The adult size snorkel has a larger barrel and shorter length to accommodate the average adult size lung capacity, the same goes for the junior or child size snorkels.
