How does one sew jingle bells on to the bottom of a skirt?

I need to know because I am making an out fit for a pageant(X-Mas wear).

I would say attached them to the bottom hem of the dress. If it has a vertical seam I would attach them there. If not just around the hem as many as you want.

They have a little arc on the bell where you can string a thread through and then into the hem of the dress. I would go through more than once so you know you have it securely on the dress hem.

I would also pick a thread that matches the fabric of the dress. Just so it doesn't show.

Just stick to the hem of the dress and you should be golden!
