and keep checking our BLOG for up to date info on how we're getting on with the show and inviting our daily guests. Got a great email from Phil (Collins) last week and apparently George W is inviting Ringo for us.

MAURICE BACON (from The Love Affair) and MATHEW PRIEST (from Dodgy) taking us on their own humorous, unigue journey through the music business from the 60's to the 90's and beyond - as observed first hand from the drummer's back seat.
There are whole sites devoted to the comedy genre of the 'drummer joke'.
Well if you have ever asked yourself "Why would anyone be a drummer?"
After an hour in the company of Math and Maurice you will be proclaiming "I WOULD BE PROUD TO BE A DRUMMER"

We will be presenting 2 Drummers Drumming as part of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2008 at The Bongo Club from August 4th to the 24th* (previews July 30/31 + August 3rd)

Maurice Bacon from The Love Affair 2 Two Drummers DrummingMAURICE appeared on Top Of The Pops on his 16th birthday, drumming with his band The Love Affair, playing their No.1 hit 'Everlasting Love' - in 1968 The Love Affair sold more records than The Beatles.

Mathew Priest from Dodgy 2 Two Drummers DrummingMATHEW is drummer with Britpop heroes Dodgy and co-wrote 'Good Enough', one of the most played songs on British radio in 1996.
Both still play drums with their respective bands.

SPECIAL GUESTS
We are also in the process of inviting a different drummer-related SPECIAL GUEST to join us for the Edinburgh Experience each day, and are currently working hard to find ways to persuade Ringo, Charlie Watts, Phil Collins and others to pop along. If you have ideas of who we should be inviting or have contacts with superstar drummers or can think of ways to get in touch with any, please check out the 2 Drummers FORUM and let us know
