i am a pageant girl ( yes im a girl) and use those 4 all my pageants they work great on my long hair that doesnt really hold curls very well so its just like the girl before me said take about an inch oh hair twist it around the biggest purple twistie do ur whole head at once wait like 15- 20 min take them out and spray with hairspray!
